Manitowoc County Health Care Center Purchased by Minneapolis Healthcare Company

Manitowoc County Health Care Center in Manitowoc, WI has been purchased from Manitowoc County by Health Dimensions Group. The purchase was finalized on March 1, 2008. As a result of this change, Manitowoc County Health Care Center will now be known as “Manitowoc Health and Rehabilitation Center”.
“We’re excited about this new opportunity for the Health Care Center,” said Administrator Michael Thomas. According to Thomas, the change in ownership will not affect the care of residents in any way.
Located at 2021 S Alverno Road in Manitowoc, Manitowoc Health and Rehabilitation Center is a 150-bed skilled nursing facility offering both short and long-term options for individuals in need of skilled nursing care. Long-term care services support individuals who require around-the-clock skilled nursing care as well as a specialized care unit for memory care. Individuals recovering from surgery or other illness can benefit from Manitowoc’s comprehensive rehabilitation program, which includes physical, occupational and speech therapies.
Health Dimensions Group (HDG) is a healthcare management and consulting company based in Minneapolis, MN and has been serving a diverse group of clients for over 30 years.
